Announcing the Blacklord Nyte Breeding Raffle
We’re thrilled to launch something special and create a way for our community to directly support Blacklord Nyte’s preservation, and maybe even bring home a piece of his legacy!
🎟️ To raise the funds needed to begin Nyte’s artificial insemination (AI) training and collection process, we’re raffling off two breedings to him either live cover or shipped semen (if available). 🐎 Two randomly selected winners will each receive one breeding to Blacklord Nyte.
Winners may choose live cover or shipped semen, depending on availability. Shipped semen is dependent on successful AI collection. Nyte has never done AI before so this is his first time, and we’re hoping to make it work with the right vet care and support. If AI proves viable, we’ll proceed with shipping options. If not, breedings will be offered via live cover only. Either way, you’re entering to be part of something deeply rare and meaningful: helping preserve a disappearing bloodline.
💸 How to enter: Donate via PayPal at Applegate Arabians Paypal. In the note section of your donation, write: “Raffle Entry”. If there’s no note, we’ll assume it’s a general donation and not an entry. Each donation = one raffle entry. Multiple donations = multiple entries. We’ll be tracking entries manually and will draw two winners once we reach our initial $3,000 goal. This amount covers Nyte’s first month of veterinary evaluation and AI training. This phase will help determine if AI collection is even viable for him, as this will be Nyte’s first attempt at artificial insemination — previously, he's only bred via live cover.
💡 If the first phase is successful and Nyte’s semen proves viable for AI, we’ll launch a second raffle to raise the remaining $3,000 needed to complete his collection, storage, and preservation plan. That means two raffle opportunities and two chances to win a breeding to this rare Arabian stallion.
📝 The fine print: All donations are non-refundable, whether or not you win or AI proves viable. Winners are responsible for any associated veterinary, collection, or shipping costs.
